Crab by Another Name
The catch was long simply called “crabs” in postcard captions, but in Bohuslän it had a more precise name: krabbtaska. The man in the image has also been identified in museum archives as Fridolf Tobin from Käringön – a fisherman, not a fishmonger, as an older caption claimed.
