In the photograph, Kary Lasch has captured a moment from the Monaco Grand Prix in 1959 - Tony Brooks in car number 50 and Phil Hill in number 48 pass the wrecked cars belonging to Graham Hill and Harry Schell. Hill's car completed 21 laps before catching fire, a dramatic event that captures the uncompromising intensity of the race.

The Monaco Grand Prix is ​​one of the world's most prestigious and iconic Formula 1 races, known for its narrow city circuit through the streets of Monte Carlo. The race has been running since 1929 and embodies a unique combination of technical precision, glamor and motorsport history.
