A Swedish Letter for Tourism
The title ends with the Swedish “Snö”, rather than the Norwegian “Snø” – a small linguistic marker in a poster commissioned by Norway’s national tourist organisation in 1956. Landslaget for reiselivet i Norge worked to promote the country from 1903 to 1984, and here the neighbouring language became part of the appeal.
