The story behind the motif

Poster for "Hurricane of the Caribbean" (1936) - A gripping story of Dave Logan's struggle to realize his dream of owning an airline. With the world's largest flying machine, the 'China Clipper', he navigates the challenging archipelagos of the Caribbean and South America. However, this journey is not without its victims; Logan's ambitions lead to an increasingly strained relationship with those he holds dearest, culminating in a dramatic battle against a terrible storm over the Caribbean Sea.

Directed by Ray Enright and written by Frank Wead, the film features a star-studded ensemble with Pat O'Brien, Ross Alexander, Beverly Roberts and Humphrey Bogart. Their strong performances enhance the film's deep emotional and dramatic core.
