Putte's Adventure in the Blueberry Forest

The book is about the little boy Putte who goes into the forest to pick berries as a gift for his mother. Unfortunately, he doesn't find any, which makes him sad. Then the Old Man Blueberry appears and takes him on a magical adventure through the blueberry forest and the lingonberry forest, where he gets help filling his baskets with berries.

In this motif, we see Putte and the blueberry boys riding in a cart, pulled by two mice. Below them we see the text:

"And the journey home goes at breakneck speed.
To the blueberry home they soon made it,
where Blueberry Father stands and watches.
'Now the boys off and the basket up!
And hope, my swift foals, hope,
let's see that you find the way!'

But all the boys now shout:
'Alas, stay, Putte, a little while longer!'
And Putte would like to stay.
But blueberry father says: 'Putte ska' home,
for it is already past five o'clock,
and mother could ban you."
