The story behind the motif
Poster with a vintage photograph of the In Statu train on May 2, 1959. In Statu Nascendi (ISN), which in Latin means; "in the moment of liberation", was an association at the Rudbeck school in Örebro.
From the 1930s, ISN organized a train every year, called the Tekniståget or the In Statu train, which went through central Örebro. The train became well known, not only to Örebro residents, but also outside the city limits. The In Statu train consisted largely of ornate vehicles parodying the year's news events.
Photographer: Örebro Kuriren | Created: 1959.
